    2. Hi Makiaya

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey for the 2018 summer. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu. I will be commenting on your blog over the summer. I am really looking forward to reading your posts as you do them.

We are very lucky to live in such a cool place here in New Zealand. There are so many things to see and do.
It is really neat that we have the two national anthems as it makes us unique. Especially when the national anthem is followed by the haka at big sporting games. We are known for that all over the world. Have you ever been to a game when they play the national anthem and then do the haka, like the All Blacks?
This is a great experience if you haven't and something that you should do one day.

Remember to make your post at least 3 sentences long and in your own words.

      Keep up the good work!

      Until next time

      Allie :)
