  1. Hi Makiaya!

These are some great ways to keep a positive digital foot print and stay safe on the internet!
Have you talked much about this in school?
I think these are really important things to know as we are relying/using more and more technology!
My rule for myself with anything online is this: Would you be comfortable telling someone you had just met for the first time this information? If not I don't put it online.
Are there any other rules you follow when it comes to posting things online?

Thank you for sharing your digital footprint Makiaya, this is a great lesson for people to know!

    Nga mihi,

  2. Hi Makiaya,
Those are some pretty cool and important ways to stay safe online. I will definitely keep these in mind and use them when I forget. Well done!

I think that sharing your password is very bad and shouldn't ever been followed, as you never know what people could do with it. They could hack into your account, pretend to be you, and potentially cause a big drama fest. Also sharing your address can do the same, and someone could knock on your door and pretend to be someone else, and steal info. But remember, these are only very dangerous scenarios, and the worst that could happen is someone could pull a heartless joke on you.

Keep up the great work. What is your favourite thing to don online?
